A Newly Available Part Time Role working alongside experienced team members to help provide support and care to a cheerful 55-year-old man, who lives in his own home. He has mild learning difficulties, Cerebral Palsy and MS. He is extremely social and has a great sense of humour. You will become part of a dedicated and professional team who together provide 24/7 care. All training will be given to the successful applicant.
Main Duties
• All personal care tasks, such as showering and toileting and catheter care
• Household chores and duties.
• Cooking and preparing healthy meals (you can share these with him).
• To administer medication.
• To support him with daily exercises
• To support him on medical appointments
• To support him in a range of activities including Art and Crafts, Photography, iPad games, Trips out and occasionally introduce him to other activities.
• To take him out in his wheelchair around the town and to drive his wheelchair. accessible vehicle to attend other activities and visits to friends and family.

• Driving license for a manual car would be an advantage.
This newly available role comprises four morning shifts a week Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, each of four hours. There will be opportunities for other hours covering holidays and absences of other team members and the possibility of the role extending if that is of interest.
An Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) is required *
Hours:
8.30am – 12.30pm – Sunday through to Wednesday.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
