DESCRIPTION
The AWS Data Centre Supply Solutions team is looking for a Site Acquisitions Manager based in London. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute on the strategies to expand our data centre portfolio and related infrastructure.
You'll develop close working relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders, perform market and financial analysis, evaluate property solutions within our standards and guidelines, negotiate deals and close them to deliver the infrastructure needed to provide best in market data centres.

We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key job responsibilities
* Evaluate, select, negotiate, and recommend acquisitions for approval.
* Serve as a key team member in developing growth strategies for specific markets.
* Execute on the strategy while interacting with internal stakeholders (e.g. product teams, energy, fibre, design, construction, legal, tax, etc.).
* Coordinate with development, engineering, construction, project managers and legal teams amongst others, to enable evaluation of acquisition targets.
* Prepare and present transaction summaries to the senior management team regarding progress, financial approvals and overall deal costs/benefits.
* Manage multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.
* Ability to travel internationally, at times with short notice.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5 to 10 years proven track record in real estate negotiation and deal-making.
* Proficiency in negotiating legal documents and collaborating with legal teams.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations. Ability to identify and articulate real estate, technical, and construction requirements.
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
* Positive attitude, especially in the face of ambiguity and dynamic project requirements. Demonstrated ability to positively influence teams and their leaders. Ability to connect and engage with teams at all organisational levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge and experience in the data centre industry, ideally colocation or hyperscale. Ability to understand and communicate high-level technical requirements related to electrical, power & cooling, fibre optics, and other aspects of internet infrastructure.
* Experience in transaction, project, or program management.
* Strong understanding of alternative real estate transaction approaches, structures, and best practices, as well as related development processes and commercial/industrial site selection.
* Fluency in German, French or Spanish.
