About The Role

You will have access to a supportive, committed and experienced team who will give you all the necessary skills to enable you to develop and grow as a Paralegal.
We are a shared legal service between four councils in Gloucestershire, offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious Paralegal to gain hands-on experience in the local government environment.
As part of this role, you will provide Paralegal support to the planning team and have your own caseload of planning cases. You will also provide support directly to the Head of Law (Litigation and Planning) and therefore be involved in some of the most interesting and complex cases. No two days are the same and the diverse experiences you will encounter will help you to develop your legal knowledge and experience.

This role is within One Legal. One Legal was launched in November 2009 and staff are employed by Tewkesbury Borough Council but One Legal is a shared legal service between Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Councils with Gloucester City and most recently Stroud District joining us in 2020. One Legal enjoys a greater pool of expertise and an improved skills base than could be retained individually by the four partners. This enables One Legal to successfully support the varied and complex legal work arising from the Councils’ challenging business agendas.
