We have an exciting opening as Team Lead, for a skilled HR professional to lead and oversee the People Services Team.
AXA is committed to the wellbeing of its colleagues and requires a dedicated HR team leader to ensure our HR People Services team supports this.The successful candidate will be an experienced HR generalist with leadership potential and will be responsible for making sure the people team meets and exceeds its targets and KPI’s.
The role involves ensuring that all HR operational procedures are well-documented, implemented, and carried out to deliver a first-class experience for our employees and the business.

Responsibilities will include;
·Responsible for all areas of people management; Motivating, managing, empowering and coaching the team ensuring effective performance manage to ensure delivery of overall Key Performance Indicators/ targets, objectives, business plans, and evaluation of training needs where appropriate.
·Administer HR elements of payroll, pension, leave, and annual compensation cycle with accurate record-keeping and quality checking processes.
·Ensure that work tasks are well organised, prioritised, and delegated to the people services advisors on a daily basis, ensuring work is completed within agreed SLA’s.
·Accountable for ensuring the accurate and consistent delivery of key transactional HR activities including sickness and absence reporting, including monthly reporting to managers staff changes, correctly and confidentially maintain employees’ personnel files through the inputting of information into the HR systems, on boarding of new starters, processing of leavers accurately.
·Manage and oversee the administration of the monthly payroll elements, ensuring this is delivered accurately each month and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
·Responsibility for providing a second level response for colleagues responding to complex queries.
·Undertake a review of current HR processes and our operations services sharing innovative solutions and identifying efficient and effective processes and procedures that can be implemented.
·Define key performance indicators – develop metrics and service level agreements for core work and transactions, ensuring the right measures are in place to track and trend individual performance and team delivery against objectives.
·Support the wider HR team with ad hoc requests and provide guidance to managers on process guidelines, including complex escalated issues.
·Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and compliance with legislation.
·Collaborate with third-party suppliers for solid reporting and good working relationships.
·Lead on HR projects outside of BAU activities.
Your Profile
·5+ years within HR Generalist function and preferably experience of leading a high performing HR Team.
·A solid understanding of Ireland/UK Employment law and visa/work permits desirable.
·A CIPD qualification is required, with a degree in business or HR desirable.
·Highly effective self-motivation, planning and organizational skills in order to deliver on objectives.
·Customer driven, with excellent people and leadership skills.
·A solution driven individual with strong influencing skills, a pragmatic hands-on approach with the ability to make decisions based on analysis, delivering solutions in a timely manner.
·Meticulous focus on detail and quality with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
·Computer literate with a good understanding of IT tools and MS packages, demonstrating accuracy and speed when updating relevant HR system.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.
