You will have a base at the partnership centre based at Marlwood School and will need to be able to travel to all of our sites but all of our schools are easily commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and South Wales. About the Role:Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, you will lead and manage Hard FM across our Trust’s schools, ensuring exceptional service delivery. With your expertise, you will lead the procurement and contract management for Hard FM suppliers and services and act as a subject matter experience, providing advisory support to Trust leaders, including sustainability and emissions efficiency.This role also offers a unique opportunity to work with our partner trust, sharing best practices, developing joint procurement strategies, and driving efficiencies across multiple organisations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the end-to-end service delivery of minor building and improvement projects within the capital plan Lead the delivering of the trust rolling maintenance plan. Manage contracts and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and operational efficiency. Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability and carbon emissions efficiency. Lead the procurement for Hard FM suppliers and services Provide expert advice to senior leadership and stakeholders on Hard FM and future improvements. The Person: Proven experience in Hard FM leadership, preferably within an education or multi-site environment. Strong contract management and procurement expertise. Significant experience of managing estates projects and programmes across a multi-site environment Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. A strategic thinker who can drive efficiencies and improvements across multiple sites.
