HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Business Systems Trainer to join our well-established and experienced team at our headquarters in Halesowen. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.
HAYLEY DEXIS is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Responsibilities for our Business Systems Trainer:
Training Delivery - Plan, design, and deliver engaging end-user training on Infor CSDE (M3) and other applications such as Microsoft Office, ensuring that employees are competent on internal business systems and tools.
Training Material Design & Development - Create user guides and trainer guides using multiple resources to support self-directed & instructor led learning methods, tailoring to different learning styles, and maintaining for accurate, dependable ongoing learning resources.
Needs Assessment - Close collaboration with stakeholders to identify training needs and create learning paths for role specific training, aligned to business function/departmental needs.
System Knowledge - Continuous learning and in-depth knowledge on applications, staying up to date with new features & releases, reviewing end user impact and ensuring best practices are always accurately reflected in training delivery & material.
Employee & SME (Subject Matter Expert) Support - Ad-hoc end-user support outside of scheduled training for post-training questions and guidance. Working closely with subject matter experts providing guidance on content development and teaching train the trainer sessions.
Evaluation - Measuring training success & how effective the training provision is for end users and the business, listening to feedback and adjusting course structure, plans and material accordingly.
Skills & Attributes we’re looking for in our Business Systems Trainer:
Interpersonal - Strong people skills and relationship building abilities to engage with diverse audiences, adapts and addresses individual learner needs.
Technical Proficiency - Good understanding of systems and software as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
Instructional Guidance - Expertise in delivering impactful training sessions and one to one coaching tailored to different audiences. Is effective in both in-person and digital instructional design.
Communication - Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills to translate technical concepts into concise and engaging tailored messaging to suit varied audiences, listens and answers questions.
Problem Solving - Capable in troubleshooting technical issues during training and provides practical solutions to enhance participants confidence in system usage.
Organisational - Effective at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CTP certification (or equivalent) is essential.
Experience in delivering systems training in classroom (webinar/hybrid) – Essential
Experience of training delivery on an ERP implementation - Desirable
Experience with Infor CSDE (M3) - Desirable.
Engineering or Distribution industry knowledge - Desirable
