Job summary We are looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our established Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation. This is an exciting opportunity at Band 5 level to gain experience in the area specialist orthopaedics and working with patient with neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. The post holder will be rotating through following clinical teams: Adult Orthopaedics Pain Management and Rehabilitation Sarcoma and Orthopaedic Oncology Paediatric Orthopaedics London Spinal Cord Injuries Centre Upper Limb and Peripheral Nerve Injury Amputee acute and Rehab. Main duties of the job Within all the clinical teams you will be the responsible for carrying a caseload of patients which will include patients with complex physical and psychological needs. This may include patients with 'Special Needs' requiring specialist seating assessments. Your caseload will include patients ranging in age from children, young adulthood/adults to elderly. The post will benefit from a multi professional structure of clinical specialists, peer support and supervision and will have excellent opportunities to develop your professional portfolio. The post holder will be based at Stanmore and will be required to work on a weekend rota as part of Therapy 7-day service.
