We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Cramlington on a full-time, temporary basis. If you are passionate about helping students with special educational needs to succeed, this could be the perfect opportunity for you !
About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will be to provide support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them engage with their education. You will assist in the classroom, providing encouragement, support, and ensuring all students can reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with special educational needs in the classroom
* Assist with learning activities, both individually and in groups
* Help with personal care needs where required
* Provide support with social skills and emotional well-being
* Work with the teaching team to ensure all students have the resources they need to succeed
What We Are Looking For:
* A caring and patient attitude
* Enthusiasm for helping students with SEND
* Strong communication skills and a team-player approach
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
* Willingness to learn and develop within the role
