Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for our client school in South Birmingham.
We are looking for a specialist SEN Teaching assistant to help support with 2 pupils who have additional needs.
The ideal candidate would be able to develop a good relationship with the children and be able to work independently as the pupils are not currently based with the full class group. You must be confident adapting the planning in place to suit the children's needs.
We require someone who has experience of Now and Next/Visuals and who is patient and nurturing. Both children are currently in Year 1 and there are no behavioural difficulties.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm (full day)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, experience supporting with SEND
2. Previous experience working in a UK school - in either permanent or long-term roles
3. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
