Co-Director/Assistant Director of Admission and Enrollment Management
Falmouth Academy, a reputable 7-12 coed independent school located on Cape Cod, seeks a Co-Director/Assistant Director of Admission and Enrollment Management who works closely with the current Director of Admission and Enrollment Management to lead the growth of our Middle and Upper School (Grades 7-12) and the school’s new 5-day boarding program. The position contributes to the planning and implementing brand awareness, marketing initiatives, and fostering relationships with prospective students and their families.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
* Lead or assist in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment, marketing, enrollment, financial aid, and retention of mission-appropriate students.
* Collaborate with the Admissions Office team to develop and implement effective in-person and virtual events, including school fairs, open houses, information sessions (on and off campus), and student visit days for prospective applicants/families and newly enrolled students.
* Collaborate with the Admissions Team to plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies.
* Interview prospective students and families.
* Collect and analyze data throughout the recruiting cycle to build and maintain a strong applicant pipeline.
* Develop relationships with internal and external partners and feeder schools to support brand awareness and enrollment efforts.
* Promote enrollment opportunities to professional organizations and educational consultants.
* Participate in occasional evening and weekend activities, including events, meetings, professional development, or other school activities.
* Ensure Falmouth Academy’s unique strengths are effectively communicated in oral, digital, and print mediums.
* Travel domestically to support the marketing and recruiting goals of the school.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in enrollment and/or related roles within independent schools or post-secondary institutions is preferred.
* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to recognize and strategically address market trends affecting student recruitment.
* Demonstrated ability to take individual initiative while working collaboratively within a team and across school divisions.
* Technologically proficient with a focus on the Blackbaud system, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
* Willing to participate in occasional evening and weekend activities to promote the school.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* Proven track record as a highly collaborative individual in a team-based environment with strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills in person and online.
* High energy and the interest and ability to travel independently and strategically on behalf of the school.
* Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an educational setting in admissions, marketing, or related fields.
* Deep understanding of and commitment to the mission of independent schools.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to analyze data and use it to inform strategic decision-making.
* Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to fostering an inclusive school community.
* Comfortable engaging with prospective families, students, and educators from various backgrounds.
* Ability to represent the school with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm on and off campus.
