## **Job Overview:**
Arm’s Central Emulation team is very thrilled to work with Industry
experienced Emulation experts in Cambridge who will join hands with other
design and verification engineers spread globally to support outstanding
Compute Subsystems and SoC projects.
Arm is hiring a team to develop outstanding silicon demonstrators based on
Arm’s IP compute sub-system solutions targeting premium mobile,
infrastructure, automotive and IoT markets. Using the latest technology nodes
and new SoC 3D packaging developments, Arm’s ambition is to demonstrate
industry best-in-class performance by architecting, designing, implementing,
and fabricating powerful silicon test chips. This is a wonderful and
outstanding initiative, where we are bringing in innovative talent and
expertise from across the semiconductor industry to drive how the next
generation of leading compute on Arm devices are built across the industry,
opening up significant potential for the future.
## **Responsibilities:**
* Working with end users to understand system use cases to help guide validation on emulation
* Getting yourself into an exciting emulation world of Hybrid, Virtual Solutions, Industry standard HighLow speed IO IPs based subsystems and integration into SoC
* From early architecture and design inputs, to pre-silicon validation, to post-silicon readiness on emulation
* Motivated individuals to drive Pre-Silicon story of Emulation across entire SoC teams
* This teams early engagement with the design team ensures that quality and debuggability are built into the design
* We support architecture, verification, System validation, Performance, Power, DFT teams with insights from performance & power characterization to guide future improvements
* We write tests, build bare metal drivers for industry standard IO IPs, enable frameworks that will allow us to reuse and scale testing from pre-silicon platforms to many ASIC projects
## **Required Skills and Experience :**
* Candidate must have good experience in Pre-Silicon Validation, EmulationFPGA based platforms
* Experience in developing CC++SystemC tests in HDL-HVL Co-emulation platforms
* Experience in IO bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, andor PCIe
* Experience in debugging tools for systems-on-chip (SoCs) - eg. JTAG, Trace32
## **“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :**
* Knowledge of ASIC design flow, ASIC prototyping flow, and similar
* Knowledge of SystemCCC++ and UVMSV verification languages
* Experience in these domains: PCIe, Flash, Memory, CPU, GPU, DRAM
* Experience with Emulation Tool Chains: Zebu, Veloce, Palladium
