Job Description:
* Ensures that the organisation complies with regulatory and internal requirements related to collateral management.
* Preparation of security documents and reports for management.
* Attend to registration of mortgage bonds and cessions.
* Preparation of legal audits.
* Maintain safe custody of security documents and maintain detailed and accurate records.
* Ensure compliance with NCA requirements.
* Registration and administration of security cessions.
* Administration of cession payments and pledged shares.
* Liaise with attorneys on legal matters.
* Support the Financial Services team on compliance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support for their professional development.
* Coordinate and support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and assessments related to collateral management.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of collateral management and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
* BCom degree (Paralegal qualification would be beneficial).
* 3 years related experience.
* Strong knowledge of collateral management, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in using financial software, compliance management tools, and regulatory reporting systems.
