Transport Administrator
Location: Whitchurch
Duration: Temporary Ongoing
Pay Rate: £13.52ph
Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 9am – 6pm
Key Duties:
* Accurate and timely data entry of delivery receipts into internal systems
* Producing and issuing despatch paperwork for outbound deliveries
* Processing and registering drivers on arrival, including scanning and logging delivery documentation
* Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow and site efficiency
* Monitoring delivery schedules and reporting any discrepancies or delays
* Maintaining accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes
* Ensuring the Control Centre area is tidy and organised to support a smooth workflow
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed when processing drivers and visitors
* Participating in handover briefings to ensure consistent communication across shift changes
Key Skills Required:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Confidence in dealing with drivers and visitors professionally
* Good attention to detail and administrative ability
* Willingness to adapt and occasionally cover shifts until 19:00 due to sickness/holiday
* Ability to integrate with a close-knit, supportive team
