Kickstart your career with a 12-week summer placement and start building your future today.  What youâll do  As a Digital Intern, youâll dive right into the heart of our Enterprise Architecture practice, where technology meets strategy. Youâll see firsthand how we use digital tools to connect every part of the business â from data and applications to business processes â to keep Scotlandâs water and wastewater services running smoothly.  Youâll get involved in shaping how we manage IT change and help ensure our systems support the future of the business. Youâll learn how we create a complete digital blueprint of our business, how technology is governed, and how the pieces fit together. Youâll play an active role in managing New Demand Request meetings and licence applications, giving you the chance to learn project management, stakeholder engagement, and governance in real time.  You wonât just be watching from the sidelines â youâll work on live projects, collaborate with teams across Digital Strategy and Architecture, and gain exposure to multiple areas of the business. Your work will directly contribute to improving how we run our digital systems, and youâll walk away with invaluable skills and insights that are key to driving digital transformation.  Depending on your interests and skills, youâll also have the chance to take on specific tasks or projects, gaining experience thatâs both relevant and impactful. Whether it's modelling business processes or supporting strategic tech decisions, your work will make a difference.  This is a paid summer internship with an hourly rate of £12.60, aligned with the Real Living Wage. This is typically a full-time position (35 hours), but weâre open to discussing flexible working patterns where possible to suit your needs. For a 35-hour week, the equivalent annual salary would be around £23,020, pro-rated for the length of the internship.   What youâll need⯠⯠  Youâll be in the penultimate year of university, or maybe about to do a Masters. Either way, youâll be on course for at least a 2:2 degree. And it goes without saying that you will be available for the full placement time: 12 weeks .      You âll be studying towards a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or another Computer Science degree, or you may be studying towards a degree in Graphic Design or Product Design, areas that are growing in importance in the field of UX.   Most of all, youâll bring a passion for learning and a drive to apply what you discover in a digital team thatâs helping to shape the future of Scotlandâs essential services.   Youâll need to live within commuting distance of one of these office hubs in the Central Belt â Stepps, Stirling or Perth.   In terms of essential requirements?
