Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and dedicated individual with a love for supporting children's learning and development? We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to help support our schools and nurseries within the Truro area. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the educational needs of students, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with a range of abilities.
- Assist with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Support the class teacher in managing the classroom environment and ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
- Contribute to the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and activities.
- Support students with additional needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Have experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Be patient, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.
- Show initiative, be adaptable, and work well as part of a team.
- Have a good understanding of the national curriculum and how to support children's learning.
- Be committed to supporting children's individual needs, including those with additional learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
