An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join the IOW Talking Therapies Service. This role is permanent at 22.5 hours per week. The main location of the role is at The Gables in Newport on the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will have a recognised administrative qualification and a proven level of experience in an administrative role. The applicant will have a good understanding of administrative policies and procedures and experience of developing an administrative team. They will lead a small team of administrators, meaning the candidates communication skills must be excellent, both verbal and in writing. Main duties of the job The post holder will: Be highly organised, flexible and have a keen eye for detail. Be able to identify priorities within in the admin team and their own workload. Have proven IT skills within the Microsoft Office suite and NHS clinical IT systems (e.g. iaptus, SystmOne) Assist in the collation and analysis of data for the cluster, ensuring its validity and accuracy. Be able to directly line manage the admin team, including; day-to-day management and oversite of work, appraisals, supervision, training and inductions.
