Main duties of the job
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Management Support Administrator supporting the Care Group senior leadership team. The post is a permanent position and will be part time 22.5 hours per week, based at The Julian Hospital in Norwich.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, in a sometimes demanding office environment. You should be able to prioritise your work effectively, have excellent communication skills, and work as part of a team or alone using your own initiative and forward thinking. The role will require management of other staff members so experience of supervising staff will be an advantage.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
1. Minutes of meetings
2. Transcribing
3. Supervision of staff
4. Diary management for senior leadership team
5. Staff training and recruitment
6. Dealing with investigations
You will need to be a focused individual, have excellent organisational ability, a good telephone manner, flexibility and a good work ethic that supports the Trust's values. It is essential you have good skills in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
Experience working in an NHS or Health Care setting would be an advantage, as would familiarity with Trust systems; however, full training will be given.

* Pitman/RSA III Typing / Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at advanced level.
* NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards.
* NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards.
Experience
