SEMH Support Assistant – Leyland – Full-Time – Immediate Start Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you have a strong educational background and a full UK driving license? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a dedicated SEMH Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Leyland. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, with an initial 12-week temporary contract through Teaching Personnel before transitioning to a permanent position. Role Overview: Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. Assisting with emotional regulation, engagement in learning, and social development. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a positive learning environment. Supporting students with transportation needs if required. Requirements: ✔ A good level of qualification (Level 3 or above preferred). ✔ A full UK driving license – essential. ✔ Experience working with young people with SEMH or additional needs (desirable). ✔ A proactive and resilient approach, with the ability to build strong relationships.
