What will your day look like?
* We currently have a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Operative, working across various contracted sites in Eastbourne.
* Core working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with extra hours sometimes required.
* You will carry out general grounds maintenance.
* You will be proactive in helping assess for maintenance issues and health and safety.
What makes a successful Grounds Maintenance Caretaker?
* You will show a keen interest in gardening; no trade qualifications are required, but previous experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
* You will demonstrate good decision-making skills and common sense.
* You will take pride in consistently providing a high standard of customer service as you will be acting as a Community Property Care representative when on site.
* You will have experience of working to achieve agreed targets and completing them within an agreed time frame.
* You will be a team player who ensures that all our estates and communal areas are clean, tidy, and in a safe condition.
* You must hold a current and full Driving Licence (essential as on occasions you will be required to use a Company van as a tool of the job).
