Position Overview
We are now looking to recruit a talented Audio Visual Technician Apprentice to develop knowledge in Audio Recording, Audio Mixing/Editing, Video Recording, Video Editing, Radio Studio Operation, Podcasting, Lighting, Media Streaming and Health and Safety.
You will complete the level 3 HE Education Technician Apprenticeship, with an expected duration of 24 months, in the School of Engineering. Working within a team of technicians, you will support our academics and students in the laboratories, ensuring equipment and materials are prepared for teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support academics and students in laboratories.
2. Prepare equipment and materials for teaching and research.
3. Develop skills in audio and video production.
4. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
It’s essential that you are confident with the ability to communicate well, are logical with good problem-solving skills, have good attention to detail and are able to work as part of a team.
