Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst? Due to an internal promotion, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support, contributing to JELD-WEN’s strategic goals.
As European FP&A Analyst, you will play an active part in the Financial Reporting and Analysis of the European Sales/Costs. You will have exposure to senior stakeholders at all levels, including the European CFO and the Director of FP&A, Europe. A key focus will be the detailed analysis of key drivers impacting performance, standardisation and improvement of financial processes/procedures, hence driving best practice across the region. You will develop a culture of functional excellence as well as encourage continuous improvement and a commitment to our company values.
The FP&A Analyst position is part of the European HQ Operations FP&A Team based in Solihull, with 2 days in the office per week. Offering a competitive salary, 25 days holiday with options to buy and sell days, 7.5% pension and opportunities for training and development.
What your impact will be:
* Financially Validating, Reporting, Forecasting & Insight to Operational & Support Services Performance including (but not exclusive) Spend Analysis, Productivity/Sourcing savings, Cost out actions, Inventory & AP performance Make/Buy Projects.
* Lead Capex Reporting Process for Europe – Actual, Forecast & Budget.
* Provision of Key Operational and Support Services related KPI’s and analysis for Pulse, the Monthly Operating Report, Board packs and other Reporting.
* Develop a No Surprises Culture – Drive Ownership, Accountability and Cheque Book Mindset. Data Driven not Opinion.
* Support Overhead & SG&A Spend Review, Reporting & Management. Support Functional Cost Centre Managers / Functional P&L Owners.
What you'll need to succeed:
* At least 2 years experience in a multi-site multi-country finance/accounting role.
* Experience of working for a blue-chip company (preferably US owned).
* Experience working in a global matrix managed organization.
* Financial Acumen – Interprets and applies understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills: able to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Advanced excel skill and experience and initiative in building robust financial models.
* Support Internal Management Reporting – Europe & US - Financial Walks (Monthly, Quarterly, Year To Date, Forecast, Sequential etc) & Business Presentations.
* Support Month End / Quarter End Financial Close Process - US GAAP Consolidation.
* Support European Consolidation – Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
