An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rural Secretary to join our team with responsibility for providing high quality administrative support to our multi-disciplined team. You will work closely with our Chartered Surveyors (and Graduates) supporting them with a variety of administrative tasks.
This is a part-time position, working up to 24 hours per week across four or five days (Monday to Friday)
As Secretary/Administrator you will assist the Lister Haigh team in all aspects of administrative work in order to ensure our clients needs are serviced in a timely manner. You must have excellent telephone and communication skills and the ability to manage changing demands. As a point of contact for clients you will be expected to form good relationships in order to maintain our customer base. A high level of accuracy is required to ensure documents are fit for purpose.
Responsibilities: Accurate typing and interpretation of written notes and audio recordings relating to reports, letters, and valuations as required by the team.
Processing and responding to telephone and email enquiries within a timely manner, signposting to the relevant people where required.
Drafting of dictated invoices for work carried out as required by the team using Core Time and Word.
Build excellent relationships with clients in order to act as a point of contact by resolving enquiries efficiently.
Ensure the efficient filing of all documents relating to the department in order to ensure compliance with GDPR
