As a Medical Workforce Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Medical Staffing function to provide a comprehensive, high quality and effective service in the delivery of junior doctor rota coordination, ensuring minimum staffing is maintained at all times.
Main duties of the job
Maintain minimum staffing numbers is key to the role as is attention to detail. You will be working in a very fast-paced, high-intensity working environment. A good knowledge of the 2016 Junior Doctor rota rules will be essential in your day-to-day role. With effective communication, you will liaise with numerous stakeholders in response to safe staffing requirements from a number of specialties such as Junior Doctors, CBU Management teams, and external providers. Maintenance and updating of a live rostering system is also required. Ensure any vacancies are noted and cover arranged in a timely manner.
