Key Responsibilities**

- Supervise daily logistics activities, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and inventory control.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment to meet customer deadlines.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with transport providers (hauliers, couriers) to optimise delivery schedules.
#### **2. Team Leadership**
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve KPIs (e.g., productivity, accuracy).
- Allocate tasks and manage shift rotas to meet operational demands.
- Conduct performance reviews and address disciplinary issues in line with company policy.
#### **3. Health & Safety Compliance**
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE regulations (e.g., manual handling, forklift safety).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse.
#### **4. Systems & Reporting**
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track shipments and inventory.
- Generate reports on stock levels, dispatch accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Identify process improvements to reduce costs and waste.
#### **5. Customer & Supplier Coordination**
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales).

- **Experience:** 2+ years in a logistics, warehouse, or transport supervisory role.

- **Technical:** Proficiency in WMS/MS Office (Excel for data analysis).
- **Certifications:** Forklift licence (desirable), IOSH/NEBOSH (advantageous).
