Service Coordinator - Kingsdown Compressed Air Systems Ltd
Are you energised by working in a dynamic office environment, where your day involves engaging with customers, service engineers, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery? If you enjoy being a vital part of a team, supporting field service and sales engineers through effective planning of service and breakdown visits, and meeting targets and expectations, then we want you on board!
The role:
* Oversee the scheduling of service jobs to ensure timely and efficient completion.
* Communicate with customers via phone and email to arrange and confirm service visits, keeping them informed about the work and schedules.
* Prepare detailed quotations for service-related tasks, including technical specifications.
* Maintain diary management and planning boards within Clik for our engineers.
* Ensure engineers are fully equipped with the necessary parts and tools for their visits, and accurately handle all returns.
* Track the progress of customer orders, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, with any additional needs promptly addressed.
* Collaborate with Service Engineers, Service Team Leaders, and Accounts Managers to expedite customer requests.
* Provide warranty and breakdown support in coordination with the Service Team Leader as needed.
* Address and resolve any operational or planning challenges with the Service Team Leader.
* Collect and maintain customer information from Field Service Engineers for accurate record-keeping.
* Work closely with Engineers and Sales Teams to maximize growth opportunities, meeting department and business targets and KPIs.
* Take on ad-hoc projects as needed to support the team.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Strong analytical and organisational skills.
* Experience in a service environment with customer interaction via phone and email.
* A self-driven attitude with a positive outlook, focusing on quality communication and exceptional customer support.
* Computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
* Residency within a commutable distance to the Kingsdown Office.
* Geographical knowledge of the Southeast is a plus but not essential.
