Delivery Driver/Retail Assistant
We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Delivery Driver/Retail Assistant to join the team in our Houghton Hall Garden Centre.
The hours for this position are 24.5 hours per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
Our competitive rate of pay for this role is £11.46 per hour.
The Role
As a Delivery Driver/Retail Assistant you will play a critical role in smooth and safe customer furniture deliveries. Safe vehicle operation and excellent customer skills will be essential for this role.
Due to heavy lifting required a level of physical fitness is required for this role.
What you will be doing as a Delivery Driver/Retail Assistant?
Maintaining the warehouse standards and general housekeeping
Merchandising stock
Carrying our customer deliveries
Any other duties associated with a retail environment.

Strong customer service/sales skills.
Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling.
Forklift Licence and Driving License
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail when checking stock
