Job Description:
Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and deliver training to installers and other trade professionals to help them understand the benefits of, and how to install, VELUX products.
Key tasks will include:
1. Delivering practical training sessions to installer and dealer partners in dedicated Training Facilities.
2. Creating local online training modules and live webinars based on VELUX Academy training policy, aligned with company strategy.
3. Coordinating, planning, and facilitating training sessions for different professional groups in collaboration with sales teams and customers, including practical arrangements.
4. Participating in training demonstration videos covering full installations, typical on-site issues, and fault finding.
5. Managing administration related to training tracking and evaluation.
This is a field-based role, based in Manchester, UK. Expect 15-20 travel days per year to deliver training at customer sites and attend internal VELUX meetings and events.
You will report to the Technical Training Manager at our Head Office in Hørsholm, DK, and join a team of Technical Trainers across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and GBI. The team is known for its great spirit and mutual support.
This role is suitable for an experienced carpenter, roofer, or similar professional seeking a new career direction, or a Construction or Building college tutor.
We will support your development to become an expert in our products and services.
To succeed, you should:
* Have roofing, carpentry, or construction experience.
* Be comfortable speaking to both small and large audiences.
* Be organized, structured, self-motivated, and capable of independent decision-making.
* Be a great communicator.
* Experience with training, education, or trade, and familiarity with VELUX products, will be advantageous.
