Role: Deputy Manager, Ofsted Children’s Home
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: £41,500 - £47,800
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time – 40 hours a week, Monday to Sunday
As a Deputy Manager in this children’s residential service, you'll thrive on ensuring each young person in your care feels heard and supported to achieve their potential, no matter the challenges they face. This role isn't just about managing staff and daily operations; you'll play an active role in the lives of the children and young people. About the Home:
This position is based in a Solo residential home for children and young people aged 8 to 18 with various learning disabilities. They strive to create a homely and supportive environment, assisting children with household tasks and all aspects of their care. Our focus is on ensuring the children’s voices are heard and providing a collaborative and caring service. Our goal is to ensure a safe and happy childhood in a friendly, warm, and inclusive environment.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experienced in Team management
* Level 3 in Children's Residential and it is desirable that you have enrolled on or completed your Level 5
* 2 Years experience working in Children Home's Ofsted Provisions
* Emotional resilience to handle the challenging nature of the role
* Ability to Delegate
* Strong knowledge base of legislation, policy and procedures
