As a key addition to the Risk & Compliance team, the Managing Associate will play a crucial role in managing a variety of high-profile risk-related matters. Responsibilities will include: Assisting in claims handling, liaising with fee earners, insurers, brokers, panel solicitors, and other relevant parties Managing complaints in accordance with the firm's procedures Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on risk-related issues Supporting the Director of Legal and Commercial Risk with strategic and operational issues Advising on queries related to the SRA StaRs, Principles, and Codes of Conduct, as well as liaising with regulators such as the Law Society of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland Reviewing and updating policy writing as necessary Contributing to the firm's external accreditations and compliance audits Supporting the Risk & Compliance team's work across the firm's office locations, with flexibility for remote work This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work closely with a highly skilled team of legal professionals and contribute to the firm's reputation as a leader in its sector. Your Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE and a background in law firm regulation, solicitors' PI claims, complaints handling, or commercial contract law.
