Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Management Accountant – Cavello Group Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for accuracy and a commitment to delivering results? Join Cavello Group as an Assistant Management Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. As a pivotal part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate postings within MS Business Central, culminating in the production of the monthly management accounts for our subsidiary companies. You will collaborate closely with the Group Management Accountant and key stakeholders, contributing to the financial success of the Cavello Group. Key Responsibilities: Accurately post the month’s transactions in the cash book and ensure all month-end journals are dimensioned and posted correctly in MS Business Central. Produce management accounts for assigned subsidiaries, ensuring they reflect the MS Business Central data and are delivered on time. Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts and intercompany balances, providing clear supporting schedules. Raise intercompany invoices, sales invoices, and credit notes in accordance with agreements and budgets. Assist with audit information provision and annual tasks such as P11d production. Oversee purchase ledger and expenses for the Cavello Group and subsidiaries (excluding Langley Group). CIMA/ACCA qualification (or working towards) is essential. Experience: Relevant experience in an accounts department, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to build effective relationships across departments. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Business Central, and MS 365 applications.
