You will use your lived experience of mental health challenges to help people develop their skills and confidence needed to manage their home and finances, reconnect with family and friends and explore social or vocational interests. This support will empower individuals to engage more actively in their local community and maintain their physical and mental well-being. This is a non-clinical role, which will require the use of simple evaluation tools and impact data. This role is pivotal in developing a collaborative environment where service users are actively engaged in their care and decision-making process. The successful candidate must have a lived experience of mental health-related challenges and understand the difficulties clients face. You must be a ble to work respectfully with empathy and sensitivity. Experience in safeguarding issues and working with a diverse range of clients including isolated individuals and communities are essential.
