Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing contracts and agreements with suppliers and sub-contractors.
2. Overseeing the commercial management and administration of the contract.
3. Monitoring and reporting monthly spending against the package budget.
4. Evaluating potential claims from contractors and suppliers.
5. Preparing orders and instructions for contractors or suppliers.
6. Managing additional works processes to identify and capture items exceeding the contract's liability limits.
7. Providing insights and driving profitable growth to support the organisation's long-term goals.
8. Supporting the operations team with contractual requirements and commercial implications of non-performance.
9. Maintaining and enforcing policies, procedures, and governance to mitigate commercial risks.
10. Leading contractual negotiations in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.
11. Collaborating with the procurement team to enhance supplier onboarding and performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Accountancy, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
2. Proven experience in commercial management.
3. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders effectively.
5. Familiarity with policies and procedures to manage commercial risks.
