Communications Director Precision Diagnosis
Job Description
In this role you will drive world-class integrated communications programs for Philips’ Precision Diagnosis business and its Business Units. You will work on positioning Philips as a health technology leader and boost employee engagement through high quality internal/ external communication services. You will be part of an amazing team of senior communications professionals.
Your role:
* Developing and driving strategic communications plans that contribute to the success of the Precision Diagnosis business units, its employee engagement and reputation, working together with senior stakeholders in the Business and broader Communications and Brand team.
* Developing compelling narratives and content that resonate with various B2B and internal audiences and help contribute to our mission to provide better care to more people.
* Driving strategic thought leadership programs and leading key Precision Diagnosis events.
* Providing overarching communications counsel and capability building in Precision Diagnosis and taking an active role in a Business Unit’s Leadership Team, serving as a trusted communications advisor to the leaders.
* Leading, developing and deploying internal/ external strategic communications programs, including support for the company’s reputation, brand, culture and transformation programs.
* Issues management and crisis communications and contribution to integration programs of mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
* Managing agency and measurement of all programs.
The Business Communications team is part of Philips’ Communications & Brand organization that drives the company’s brand and reputation management and delivery of high-quality communication services to the leadership of Philips. You will report into the Head of Communications, Precision Diagnosis and Image Guided Therapy.
Precision Diagnosis consists of four Business Units: Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance (MR), Computed Tomography (CT), and Diagnostic X-Ray.
You're the right fit if you are:
* A results-oriented senior communications leader with a Master’s degree, and at least 10 years’ experience, in strategic B2B communications/marketing in an international/matrixed environment.
* Ability to shape and guide a communication strategy while navigating a high paced business environment with many moving parts and across a wide variety of activities.
* Strong senior stakeholder management skills: you are a confident advisor to senior management and a trusted strategic partner.
* High energy, creative and demonstrated ability to build key relationships and lead to positively influence stakeholders and drive effective collaboration.
* Strong project management skills and agency management experience are a must; proven track record of driving strategic, complex programs and planning processes and ensure timely and effective execution of communication strategies.
* Native-level English (written and spoken); proven ability to write and steer work for impactful speeches, presentations, blogs, opinion pieces; etc.
* Strong understanding of/ affinity with healthcare innovation topics is a pre.
