Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement tailored learning plans to address specific needs and learning styles Assist students in acquiring essential skills and knowledge in various subjects Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Strong organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Special Educational Needs Experience with assistive technology Experience working in a school setting Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, supporting students with SEN in an educational setting in South East England, Berkshire. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide tailored support and guidance to students.
