The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition and retention through creative, innovative, data-driven, and cross-functional marketing strategies. Role Overview The Head of Marketing will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand growth, customer loyalty, and operational excellence. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this role will plan and manage Naturisimo’s marketing calendar across all owned, earned, and paid channels, with a focus on cost-efficient customer acquisition and maximized retention. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the e-commerce and beauty sectors, an analytical mindset, and a passion for clean, sustainable beauty. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop, implement, and manage the marketing calendar across all channels, aligning with company growth objectives and seasonal campaigns. Drive impactful, cohesive, cross-channel campaigns that position Naturisimo as the go-to destination for clean beauty. Ensure a seamless balance between brand-building efforts and direct-response marketing to optimize both short and long-term performance. 2. Brand & Content Marketing Define and strengthen Naturisimo’s brand identity and positioning within the clean beauty space, ensuring all campaigns and content align with our brand values. Lead storytelling and content strategy, leveraging brand pillars to build a loyal and engaged customer base. Oversee social media, PR, and influencer campaigns to build brand awareness and authority. Effectively manage a complementary marketing mix across all available channels 3. Performance Marketing & CRM (both presently with agency) Drive data-informed performance marketing efforts with paid media agency, with a focus on CAC optimization, ROAS, and maximizing LTV. Optimize CRM strategies with agency across email, SMS, and loyalty programs to foster customer retention, repeat purchases, and personalized engagement. Oversee the customer journey mapping, ensuring consistent brand messaging and customer experience from acquisition through retention. 4. Customer Acquisition & Retention Utilize a mix of marketing channels (including organic, affiliate, influencer, and partnerships) to drive new customer acquisition, continually refining targeting and segmentation. Collaborate on loyalty initiatives and retention strategies, using data insights to guide repeat purchase rates, customer lifetime value, and customer satisfaction. 5. Data-Driven Decision Making Establish and track KPIs across channels, delivering actionable insights and adapting strategies to meet or exceed targets. Partner with finance and data teams to manage budgets, allocate spend efficiently, and ensure a strong ROI on all marketing activities. Use customer data, market research, and competitive analysis to anticipate industry trends and refine Naturisimo’s marketing strategies. 6. Leadership & Collaboration Manage and inspire a small team, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities. Work cross-functionally with Buying and Merchandising teams to align marketing with overall business objectives. Act as internal thought leader within the company, sharing insights on evolving industry trends, new marketing technologies, and best practices. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in a senior marketing role, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or beauty sectors. Proven track record in clean/ethical beauty is a strong advantage. Analytical Skills: Deep experience with data analytics, campaign metrics, and A/B testing, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Facebook Ads Manager. Channel Expertise: Demonstrated success across key digital channels including performance marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, CRM, and email. Leadership: Ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a growing team, with experience in hiring and developing top marketing talent. Strategic Vision: Strong business acumen with a forward-looking approach to brand-building, channel innovation, and customer engagement. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and influence stakeholders at all levels.
