A client within the Public Sector based in Cheshire is currently recruiting for an Estates & Valuation Surveyor to join their Property & Estate Management team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within an estate management environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to provide estates and valuation input to the property team at a senior, technical level, focusing on: Asset Management and high-level valuation work for acquisition, disposal, Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assisting in the development of the Council’s Asset Management Plan to ensure effective and efficient management of the Council’s property portfolio. Supporting and assisting in the comprehensive review of the Council’s land and property portfolio to meet strategic objectives and implementing the outcomes of the review. Working with clients and services to understand their accommodation and resource requirements. Developing plans with other services and partners to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Council’s assets. Managing projects from inception to delivery and reviewing asset use by internal and external clients. The Candidate To be considered for this role, you will require: A relevant degree in Estate Management, Surveying, or a related discipline. Membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent professional body.The below skills would be beneficial for the role: Experience in local government estate management and asset planning. Strong project management and property valuation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such is offering £50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £40 per hour PAYE).
