Job Description
We are recruiting for a Permanent, Part Time (17.5 h/week) Health and Fitness Co-ordinator, to join our 3,000 strong team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
The Health and Fitness Co-ordinator has a strategic role in the development and promotion of health, well-being and fitness. As an integral member of the citywide health and fitness team and the localized facility management team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, assisting in creating health and fitness retention strategies, as well as managing, developing, and mentoring your gym instructor team and fitness class program.

Your key role is to ensure high standards of staff performance, assist with achieving income targets and member retention growth, as well as ensuring safe and effective operational management of a fitness suite. You will be expected to assist in the development of health and fitness in all spheres of business as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you have the following skills and experience:
* Health and Fitness SVQ Level 2 Qualification
* Managerial experience in leading and developing a team
* Group Fitness Experience - Developing and managing a group fitness programme
* Experienced in the Health & Fitness industry with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Project management and event experience
* Be able to work in locations across the city.
* Ability to work on a flexible shift pattern (including regular weekend and evening working).
* Good IT skills with previous experience of operating software systems.

Salary for this post will be pro-rata.
