Your Role as Registered Manager
As the Registered Manager, you’ll work closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors to set up and run the home, ensuring it delivers outstanding care and meets all Ofsted requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Building & Managing a Brilliant Team – Recruiting, training, and developing a child-focused care team.
* Delivering Tailored, Trauma-Informed Care – Creating personalised care plans that support a child’s emotional and behavioural needs.
* Developing Strong External Partnerships – Working with local authorities, social workers, and families to ensure wraparound support.
* Managing Budgets & Resources – Keeping things running smoothly while maintaining high standards of care.
* Driving a Positive Culture – Creating a home where both children and staff feel safe, valued, and empowered.
What We’re Looking For
We need a strong, compassionate leader who’s ready to take on the challenge of launching and managing a successful solo placement home.
* Leadership Experience – You’ve been a Registered Manager before and have a track record in EBD residential care.
* Regulatory Expertise – A solid understanding of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and best practices.
* Qualifications – Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People’s Services (or working towards it).
* Inspiring Leadership – You know how to motivate, mentor, and support a team, leading by example.
* Therapeutic Approach – Experience in trauma-informed, person-centred care, helping young people heal and grow.
* Passion & Dedication – A genuine drive to transform lives and achieve the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children.
What’s in It for You?
* Competitive Salary – Up to £60,000 per year + bonuses.
* Clear Career Progression – As the company expands, so will your opportunities for senior leadership roles.
* Professional Development – Ongoing training, qualifications, and structured career support.
* Autonomy & Influence – Shape the home’s culture and success with full backing from an experienced provider.
* A Rewarding Role – Work somewhere that genuinely prioritises care over box-ticking.
