As the HR Business Partner, you will provide HR Business Partner support for the Group and Professional Services functions, with a focus on supporting Intertek's vision to be the world's most trusted partner for Quality Assurance., As the HR Business Partner, you will be working with a well-established team who will be able to settle you into the culture and understand our diverse business lines - this is a great opportunity for a driven person to bring innovation and be a true solutions provider. Key activities:
* Trusted partner/advisor to the Group and Professional Services leadership teams
* Coach and mentor Line Managers to be empowered around people, engagement and performance topics/decisions
* Providing HR guidance and support on individual and organisational changes, including restructures, redundancies and settlement agreements
* Support managers in recruitment initiatives, including ensuring the recruitment process is followed
* Talent management and development to ensure engagement and aligned succession planning
* End to end Employee Relations and absence case review and management
* Support and drive the performance development cycle
* Work with HR Operations to support administration and payroll of the client group
* Management of Global transfers in and out of the UK and support all immigration processes
* Support the Group monthly Townhall
* Support and guidance for acquisitions
* Communicate and endorse HR Policy and Procedures
University degree or equivalent relevant experience (preferably in a related field: Human Resources or Business Management)
* Working background in a progressive work experience in the field of HR (preferably in an international, European and/or multi-site organization)
* Preferably CIPD Level 7 qualified
* English fluent in written/spoken
* HR Capabilities: Individual and collective labour law; HR Subject Matter Expert; use of HR metrics; maintains external perspective; anticipating people trends; employee relations
* Consulting and counselling capabilities. Ability to deliver and support the selling of HR solutions to the business
* Be commercial aware to support the business with market changes
* Ability to travel to various UK sites to suit business needs
