The Role We are looking for a Registered Community Nurse who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience. As a Registered Community Nurse you will use your knowledge and professional judgement to ensure our residents health and wellbeing needs are met. You will also work closely with the Care Home Managers and staff teams to provide the highest level of person-centred care. This role requires excellent clinical skills and a passion for improving the lives of our residents. To support the care, protection, and wellbeing, of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence. Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to residents. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while closely liaising with Area Managers, Home Managers, and shift leaders on nursing matters. Assist Care Home staff with resident care, medication administration, and NHS or GP visits, and support mealtimes. When necessary, you may act as a Shift Leader or provide on-call services, coordinating with night nurses. Other duties involve maintaining accurate nursing records, conducting physiological measurements, supporting non-nursing staff through training, and ensuring the safe disposal of medical waste. Manage nursing equipment and stock and provide emotional and practical support to residents and their families during palliative care and bereavement. Adherence to Parklands' Quality Management System (Q.M.S) and regular participation in mandatory training are essential. The role of Registered Community Nurse is a permanent role, working either full-time or part-time, on a rotational basis that includes weekends.
