Supply Chain & Technical Administrator | Sittingbourne | £23k - £25k
We are recruiting for a supply chain & technical administrator to join our client, based in Sittingbourne.
Principle purpose of position:
The Supply Chain and Technical Administrator will be responsible for the administration duties of the Technical and Supply Chain teams. The Administrator must be able to liaise with the internal operations and sales teams and customers in a professional manner and be excellent in organisation, communication, and efficiency skills. The Administrator works alongside many departments and therefore possesses understanding of the pressures on each department and be able to ensure their constraints are understood in performing their duties.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Administrative skills:
1. Excellent organisation skills and be able to manage the expectations of internal and external users.
2. A large part of their work involves MS office packages (mainly excel and word) and therefore able to use these packages to an advanced state.
3. They must also be able to develop and understand current procedures in place and improve where necessary to respond to the changing needs of the business.
4. Must be able to manage their time and be confident in prioritising workload which will involve liaising with staff where their demands cannot be met.
