Job Description
This role is field based with travel once a week to Birmingham and with UK travel when required.
We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join a fast-paced Food Distribution business who are a leading player in the delivered wholesaler sector. Supplying a comprehensive range of multi-temperature food products to retailers on the high street and in the travel, hospitality and leisure industry, they are looking for a skilled sales professional to manage relationships with their existing customers as well as supporting the development of business with new customers.
About the role
In this role, you will work closely with your customers to monitor sales and profitability, devising joint business plans (JBPs) to deliver growth and profitability and continually drive improvements to the mutual benefit of both parties. In addition to this, you will play a lead role in the identification of opportunities to improve sales and profitably, supporting the Business Development team in securing new accounts. Working cross functionally with internal teams such as Buying, Marketing and Telesales, you will play a lead role in developing sales plans and providing customers with information of new products and promotions.
