About the Role
As a Secondary ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating learning environment, develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, and use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Your role will also involve assessing students’ progress, providing feedback, and supporting their academic and personal development. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students.

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum standards.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
* Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a Secondary ECT or in a similar teaching role.
* Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
To work with GSL Education as a Secondary ECT, you will need:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
