We are currently looking for an Hotel Receptionist to join the Grim's Dyke Hotel team to help us drive customer care standards and support the property as it moves onto the next chapter of its history.
The nature of hotels does mean shift work and weekends so this role won't be suitable everyone but this a real opportunity if you are keen, bright and have ambition to grow and develop in the hospitality sector, an opportunity for you to make your mark without all the constraints of a big brand. We are an independent, privately owned, 4 silver star hotel with 47 bedrooms. The manor house is a lovely Grade 2* listed manor house and we are set in approx. 100 acres of beautiful parkland and formal gardens on the outskirts of London near Harrow Weald (close to Bushey, Oxhey, Stanmore, Pinner and Wealdstone).

The role will include early and late shift duties as well as weekends and public/bank holidays as required by the business.
Experience:
* Hotel Reception Experience: ideally min 6 months
* Ideally previous Best Western experience and Rezlynx but not essential

This is a live-out position so you will need to live reasonably close to Harrow Weald - HA3 6SH and ideally have your own transport.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress to Duty Manager and support with Conference and Banqueting.
