Our client based in Leicester is looking for a Finance and Office Manager who will report into the Operations Manager and Financial Director. Their responsibilities will include financial accounting, reporting, auditing and tax; supervision of Accounts as well as being responsible for HR Admin Support. This is a full time, permanent position based on site. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Educated to a minimum AAT Level 4 (CIMA or ACCA preferable) Previous experience in accounts and general administration duties essential, ideally 2 years minimum with payroll experience / knowledge of Sage Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Must be able to demonstrate high level of numeracy and accuracy, with attention to detail Within this position, you’ll also be: Responsible for the financial accounting to include reporting, auditing, and tax Daily bank reconciliations and journals Prepare monthly stock valuations and report stock movements Review financial data and prepare monthly P&L, cashflow and variance analysis reports Prepare monthly financial analysis to budget and previous year comparisons Provide monthly insight around costs and any associated variances Complete VAT returns within the legal deadline dates for the UK Year-end reporting requirements Work with external auditor for group audit requirements Supervision and cover of Accounts Administrator daily Completion of monthly payroll (Sage) Submission of payments to HMRC First port of call for HR related matters Salary & Working Hours Salary is £40,000 - £45,000 Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
