Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Performance & Data Analysist Bexley for a Local Authority Client based in Kent. In this role, you will leverage data analysis and visualisation tools to provide actionable insights, streamline performance reporting, and support evidence-based decision-making that drives service improvement across the council. About the role: You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives: Analyse performance data, streamline reporting processes, and produce clear insights to support decision-making and service improvements. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, submit accurate data for audits, and benchmark council performance with external organisations. Develop and optimise data systems, automate reporting, and enhance efficiency using tools like Power BI, SQL, and GIS. Work with internal teams and external partners, provide training, and contribute to projects to drive innovation and continuous improvement. About you: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Proven ability to analyse complex data sets, produce tailored reports for diverse audiences, and develop performance measures to drive improvement. Skilled in using tools like Power BI, SQL, Excel, and GIS for data automation, spatial analysis, and process optimisation. Experience managing data security, ensuring GDPR compliance, and submitting accurate statutory returns. Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver data-driven improvements and innovative solutions.
