Receptionist Office Manager Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Harrow Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive, based on experience We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist Office Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing office operations and reception duties, preferably within a legal environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our office. Day-to-day of the role: Manage the switchboard, handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately. Maintain diary management for senior staff and organise meetings. Oversee internal office refurbishments and maintenance of building facilities. Supervise and support the development of two office juniors. Liaise with external contractors and handle logistics for high-profile client visits. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including updating First Aiders and Fire Marshalls information, and conducting fire drills. Assist the Senior Partner with organising meetings, managing correspondence, and handling confidential paperwork. Manage office supplies, including stationery, kitchen stock, and equipment. Handle postal duties such as franking and organising couriers. Set up communication tools for new starters, including desk phones, mobiles, and business cards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Office Manager or Receptionist, preferably in a legal environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in office management software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
