Nescot has a simulated ward environment with interactive technology resources such as VR Headsets, Reality Works Real Care Babies and other nursery associated equipment to provide real life learning experiences and provide learners with opportunities to apply theory to practice. What we are looking for: Experienced teachers/lecturers teaching 16–18-year-old Childcare subjects including
* Support with the Employer Set Project (ESP)
* Recap and mastery of Historical wider context and supporting education
* Observations and assessments and reflective practice.
* To teach equality and diversity and SEND.
* To support, covering the ESP material and exam support, an Assessor qualification would be ideal.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Ability to adapt learning strategies to meet students’ needs
* Qualification up to degree level is preferred
* Vocational/industry experience is essential, ie. Paramedics, nursing, caring, nurseries, schools etc)
Main Duties for the Lecturer in Health and Social Care and Childcare:
* Delivering learning experiences that are engaging, challenging and informed by professional practice
* Attend meetings as required
* Develop existing and/or new courses together
