Our client is looking for a Workshop Manager
Key Responsibilities:
: Schedule and coordinate technicians' daily tasks, including repair and service jobs.
: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing by managing completed work orders.
: Create and manage job cards daily, gathering all relevant information for efficient processing.
: Collaborate with the service team to monitor systems and proactively plan servicing.
: Handle customer inquiries and resolve queries promptly and professionally.
: Manage internal preparation forms and allocate appropriate time allowances for each job.
: Confirm additional work requirements with customers and the sales manager.
: Work closely with the sales department to coordinate the preparation of new and used machinery.
: Ensure all engineers complete work efficiently and to the highest standard.
: Maintain clear communication with customers, providing regular updates to ensure all work meets their expectations and time lines.
Experience Needed:
: Strong communication skills with an excellent telephone manner are essential.
: Knowledge of agricultural machinery or the automotive industry is required.
: Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
: Punctual and reliable with excellent time:management skills.
: Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities.
: Highly organized with strong attention to details.
Benefits:
: Salary: GBP 40,000: GBP 45,000 per year (dependent on experience).
