Job Specification: Power Platform Developer
* Location: Birmingham office (1 day per week)
* Engagement: 22-week contract
* Contract: Day rate, depending on experience.
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to support a major infrastructure project. The developer will be responsible for replacing SharePoint/Power Automate integration with a new API service and developing a Power Apps Portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Power Platform technologies and the ability to work independently while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary Agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and support the Power Platform application.
* Replace the existing SharePoint/Power Automate integration with a new API service.
* Create a Power Apps Portal using Azure AD B2C for authentication.
* Implement further developments through improvements and Change Requests.
* Generate reports and contribute to continuous improvement within the application.
* Work within an Agile framework, ensuring adherence to CI/CD pipelines.
* Engage with stakeholders, providing clear communication to non-technical audiences.
* Maintain IT governance and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Deliverables:
* Successful integration of the new API service.
* Fully functional Power Apps Portal.
* Ongoing updates and improvements to the existing application.
* Comprehensive reports and documentation.
Required Expertise / Tech Stack:
* Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Platform Admin & CoE.
* Microsoft Stack: SharePoint, Azure, Dataverse.
* API & Web Development: REST API, Azure Web App (ASP.NET Core/Azure Functions).
* Authentication: Power Apps Portal with Azure AD B2C.
* DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipeline experience using Azure DevOps.
* Additional Tools: Dynamics 365, Dataverse.
* Agile Methodology: Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary Agile team.
Skills and Experience:
* Proficiency in Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Up-to-date knowledge of Power Platform releases and updates.
* Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with IT governance and best practices.
* Experience with integrating Microsoft products such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and Azure.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
